Geeskemaria and Dick Harnett moved from the Netherlands to Ireland in 1999 and settled in Castlecove together with their son. As an artist Geeskemaria has always been interested in colour and when they decided to keep Llamas and Alpacas on their farm, Geeskemaria was inspired by their wool and started to experiment with felt making.
Today the business is thriving supplying their collections to stores in Ireland and abroad under the Geeskemaria label.

All our products are hand made in Ireland, using only the finest merino wool and silk and are individually hand dyed using special colours and techniques.
